Terry David Walcott was born May 31, 1948, and departed this life Tuesday, July 16, 2024, reaching the age of 76 years. He was the son of Betty (Lee) Walcott and the late Hulen David Walcott.

In addition to his mother, Betty Walcott, he is survived by: two children, Michele Coffey and Darrin Walcott (Whitney); one sister, Diane Townsend (Darrell); and seven grandchildren, Kevin Price (Megan), Kaijan Price (Destinie), Te'Koa Price (Erin), Jackson Walcott, Cora Walcott, Gunner Walcott, and Adaiah Bertram; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Hulen Walcott.

Terry served his country and his community; he is US. Navy veteran, he was a lineman for Monticello Electric Plant Board, an active member of our local DAV Chapter 105 and a Security Officer for Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting. He had a quick wit and a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 20, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Bethesda Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
