Terry Lynn Dobbs was born June 13, 1953, and departed this life Friday, April 18, 2025, reaching the age of 71 years. He was the son of the late Melvin and Dorothy (Roberts) Dobbs.

He was united in marriage to Judy Lowe on April 23, 1976; and to this union two sons were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Judy Dobbs; two sons, Randall Dobbs (Shanon) and Mark Dobbs (Janna); and six grandchildren, Micah, Levi, Santana, Jacob, Hannah, and Luke. He is also survived by:  two brothers, Jim Dobbs and Steve Dobbs; and three sisters, Anna Hodge, Connie Bales, and Ruby Dobbs; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Melvin and Dorothy Dobbs, he was preceded in death by: siblings, Vera Marie Dobbs, Paul Anthony Dobbs, Kohlen Dobbs, Rabon Dobbs, Irene Dobbs, and Peter Paul Dobbs.

Terry worked for Tecumseh as a machine operator for 25 years. After that he was a mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office for 15 years.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dishman Cemetery.
