Terry Van Dishman was born December 24, 1957, and departed this life July 9, 2024, reaching the age of 66 years. He was the son of Mary Ann (Lair) Dishman and the late Ernest Dishman.

Along with his mother, Mary Ann Dishman, he is survived by: one brother, Randall Dishman; one sister, Wanda Collins; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Ernest Dishman.

Terry had recently accepted Jesus as his Savior and attended South Main Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing pool and riding his Moped.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2024, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery.
