Taunya Stapleton was born September 25th, 1975, in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. and departed this life April 8th, 2025, in Somerset, KY; born to Linda and Richard.

She is survived by: her mother, Linda (Jeff) Nicholson of Richmond, IN; her father, Richard Ramsey of Monticello; her spouse of almost 34 years, Randall "Randy" Stapleton; four children, Randi Nicole (Izaak) Cooper of Monticello, Tyler Stapleton of Monticello, Sierra "Era" Stapleton of Louisville, KY, and Savannah Stapleton of London, KY; three grandchildren, Maria, Izabelle, and Laurie Cooper of Monticello.

She is also survived by:  two brothers, Richard Ramsey of Campton, KY and Nathan (Kirsten) Ramsey of Monticello, KY; her stepsisters, Kathryn (Donovan) Joyner, Kimberly Nicholson Freeman, Virginia (James) Carrender, and Barbara Hospkins; nieces and nephews, Desiree (Hunter) Ferguson of Campton, KY, Benjamin Ramsey of Campton, KY; September Larch of Fairmont, WV; Nathan, Baylie, Bret, and Ryatt Ramsey all of Monticello, KY; and one nephew on the way.

Also survived by mother and father-in-law, Dixie and Russell Stapleton; her uncle, Van (Joann) Ramsey of Monticello; and aunts, Joyce White of Richmond, IN and Patty Skirvin; one sister-in-law, Rhonda Stapleton of Richmond, IN; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents; her stepmother, Thelma Jean Ramsey; one paternal uncle; one brother-in-law, Charlie Stapleton; 20 maternal uncles and 3 aunts.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 11, 2025, between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
