Obituary
Suzanne Burkhead was born November 17, 1957 and departed this life Wednesday, February 1, 2012 reaching the age of 54. She was the daughter of the late James Marshall and Vera (Bell) Kennedy.
She is survived by: 1 son, James "Andy" Abbott of Monticello, KY; 2 daughters, Amanda Hernandez of Bowling Green and Tracy Petty of Adamsville, TN; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 2 brothers, Robert and Bryan Kennedy both of Monticello, KY; and 3 sisters, Marsha Grier of AL, Ida Mae Dean, and Darlene Kennedy both of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Marshall and Vera Kennedy, she was preceded in death by: her husband, James Burkhead.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Koger Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Stop Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Suzanne Burkhead Memorial Fund
