Sue Bertram was born March 16, 1944 and departed this life Friday, November 29, 2019 reaching the age of 75 years. She was the daughter of the late George and Leora (Martin) Frye.

She is survived by: her husband, Bill Bertram; 1 son, Brent (Jill) Bertram; 1 daughter, Elizabeth Bertram; 5 Brothers, Harold, Paul, Thurston, Don & George Frye; and 2 sisters, Helen Denney & Louise Reed; and 2 grandchildren, Jentry Lee and John Simon Bertram.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Fred & Freeman Frye; and 2 sisters Frances Groce & Anita Baker.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 5-9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeff Bertram officiating. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: Wayne County Museum in Memory of Sue Bertram.
