Stephen L. Ledbetter, age 61, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016, at his home in Somerset, Kentucky after a long illness.

Steve Ledbetter, as he was known by all, was born October 29, 1955, the son of Howard Ray Ledbetter and Lillian Bowsman Ledbetter. Both of his parents preceded him in death.

Steve Ledbetter graduated from Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. He discovered that he was exceptionally talented in sales and management. He followed that calling, eventually starting his own business buying and selling manufactured housing in South Carolina, until his illness/ retirement.

Steve Ledbetter is survived by his wife, Janet Routson Ledbetter, after 35 years of marriage. Steve is survived by his children, Mark Fancett of Dayton, OH, Stephen L. Ledbetter, Jr. of LaGrange, TX, and his loving grandchild Kaylee Lynn Fancett of Dayton, Ohio.

Steve Ledbetter is also survived by his brothers, Kenneth R. Ledbetter of Monticello, KY, Bruce D. Ledbetter of Monterey, TN, and his sisters, Cynthia L. Lynch of Indianapolis, IN, and Linda S. Nilson of Dayton, OH, along with a multitude of family and friends who loved him dearly.

Stephen L. Ledbetter's body was cremated and therefore the family will be holding a Celebration of Life Ceremony on November 26, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. at the Hicks -Vaughn Funeral Home in Monticello, Kentucky.
