Stella Sexton was born May 10, 1929 and departed this life Friday, July 19, 2019 reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late A. A. and Mary Ada (Winningham) Watson.

She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Alexander and Ronnie Sexton; her daughters, Diane Alexander, Belinda Williams, Marilyn Chaplin, and Donna Lowe; 17 grandchildren, Angie, Chris, Crystal, Renee, Stephanie, Brandi, Kyle, Tawnya, Douglas, Nicki, Kristi, Heather, Justin, Samantha, Conner, Jordan, and Kinley; 25 great grandchildren; and 12 great- great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Kenneth Sexton; two daughters, Micki Alexander Pierce and Rita Gay Alexander; one son, Richard Sexton; five sisters, Laura Martin, Lela Lewis, Myrtie Daniels, Bessie Sutton and Lizzie Elam; and two brothers, Elbert Watson and Ernest Shelly Watson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 21, 2019 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, July 22, 2019 at 10 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
