Stella Faye Abbott was born April 10, 1945 and departed this life Tuesday, September 7, 2021 reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late Myrtle Tucker Doss.

On March 30, 1963, she was united in marriage to Elmer Abbott.

She is survived by: three children, Tammy Jones, Terri Abbott and Scott Abbott; brother, Jerry Doss; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren and one on the way; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Doss.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 10, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
