Stella R. Edwards, 70, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away peacefully at the Lake Cumberland Reginal Hospital on December 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Stella is the daughter of the late Harvey and Francis (Raines) Foster. She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Jackie Edwards; their children, Roseanna (Daniel) Tuggle and Jimmy Edwards; her four grandchildren, Emily Edwards, Breanna (Isaac) Phillips, Nathaniel Tuggle, and Kaleb Edwards; three great grandchildren, Abram, Konner, and Ellayna; three sisters, Jewell (Donnie) Hicks, Janie (Den) Britt, and Barbara McGuire, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by three sisters; two who died in infancy and Ina Beechboard and two brothers Billy and Ronnie Foster.

Stella dedicated 26 years of her life to her work with Lifeline, taking great pride in what she did. After retiring, she cherished spending her days with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Stella gave her life to Christ at a young age, and her faith remained strong. She was a faithful member of South Main Missionary Baptist Church, where she worshiped.

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, between 11am – 1pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Springs Cemetery.
