Stella Clark was born September 26, 1934, in the Freedom community of Wayne County. She departed this life Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Somerset, Kentucky reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late Grant and Ada Jones Clark.

She is survived by: one brother, Grant Clark, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Grant and Ada Clark, she was preceded in death by: three sisters, Zella Spurlock and her husband John, Tonie Clark, Mertie Jones; two brothers, Noble Clark and Winfred and his wife, Clotine Clark; and one sister-in-law, Delores Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 28, 2025, between 10 am – 12 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held June 28, 2025, at 12 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Rose officiating. Burial will be in the Foster-Clark Cemetery.
