Stanley Sexton was born February 1, 1927 and departed this life Saturday, November 15, 2008 reaching the age of 81 years. He was the son of the late John and Nannie (Russell) Sexton.

He is survived by: his wife- Doris Sexton, 3 daughters- Brenda Sexton of Bowling Green, KY, Linda Elam Muse and Debbie Crabtree both of Monticello, KY, 1 son- Forrest Sexton of Monticello, KY, 2 stepsons- Danny Noland of Anderson, IN and Jimmy Triplett of New Castle, IN, 8 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. He is also survived by: 1 sister- Hazel Carrender of Harrodsburg, KY, and 2 brothers- Kenneth Sexton of Monticello, KY and Jack Sexton of Danville, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents- John and Nannie Sexton, he was preceded in death by: 1 sister- Mildred Lewis and 3 brothers- Eugene, Everett, and Clyde Sexton.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation: Tuesday, November 18th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Wednesday, November 19th at 1 pm
Interment: Alexander Cemetery
