Stanley Harmon, age 81, of Monticello, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab in Somerset, KY.

Survivors include a brother- Kenneth (and Jean) Harmon; a sister- Joyce Sloan; nephews- Barry and Todd Harmon, James and David Sloan; nieces- Dianne Corder and Barbara Mathis.

He was a member of Keens Chapel United Methodist Church, a dedicated UK Basketball fan, as well as an avid hunter and fisherman. He was County Road Foreman for Wayne County Fiscal Court during the 1980's.


He was preceded in death by his parents- James Estill and Rina Raines Harmon and two nephews- Tim Harmon and John Sloan.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 10 am until 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will also be Tuesday at 2 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Taylor's Grove Church Cemetery.
