Sidney Thomas Kabel was born July 28, 1956 and he passed away from this life on Monday, April 6, 2020.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Kabel, son Ben Kabel, daughter-in-law Lacey, and grandson Walker Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Virginia Jones Kabel and grandmother, Georgia Higginbotham.

Sidney retired from Russell County Hospital as a RN in the Emergency department.

Sidney's greatest love in life was his family, his friends and God. He lived his faith and was a gentle and kind person to all those he came into contact with.  We will miss his sense of humor, storytelling, and great love that he showed to all.

He was an avid fisherman, hunter and nature lover. He loved playing pool with his friends and his pride and joy was his 1968 Chevy Nova.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, and upon recommendations from the CDC for Funeral Homes, a PRIVATE funeral service will be held for Sidney Kabel. Though services are limited for immediate family members only, please feel free to sign the online guestbook or send a private condolence message through our website.
