SHIRLEY PHIPPS was born May 4, 1914 and departed this life March 17, 2004 reaching the age of 89. She was the daughter of Joseph Dolen and Estella Bell Dolen.
She was united in marriage to Mayo Phipps and to this union one child was born.
She is survived by one son, Roger Phipps and one sister, Alma Roberts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mayo Phipps, her parents, Joe and Estella Dolen; three brothers; Bertie, Harley, and Carson; two sisters, Mayme Porter and Oakly Dalton.
She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Saturday, March 20 after 5 PM in the funeral home chapel
Funeral Service: Sunday, March 21 at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
