Shirley Marlene Kinnett McGinnis was born November 12, 1943 and departed this life Tuesday, January 7, 2020 reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late John Preston Kinnett and the late Ethel (Harmon) Kinnett.

She is survived by: two sons, Jerry Lee (Laura) McGinnis and Jason Todd (Lana) McGinnis; grandchildren, Nicole (Matthew) Williams, Joshua McGinnis, Conner McGinnis, Riley McGinnis; and siblings, Danny (Geraldine) Kinnett, Phillip (Dean) Kinnett, and Janice (late husband, Jack) Bell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, John and Ethel, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Teddy McGinnis.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10, 2020 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held privately in the Elk Spring Cemetery at a later date.
