Shirley Jenkins was born August 7, 1934 and departed this life Monday, February 15, 2016 reaching the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of the late Lincoln and Pearlie Belle (Rigney) Jenkins.

She is survived by: two sons, Sam and Milton Jenkins; one brother, David Jenkins; four sisters, Barbara Morgan, Linda Bell, Nancy Matthews, and Collene Jenkins; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Lincoln and Pearlie Jenkins, she was preceded in death by: one brother, Wallace Jenkins; and four sisters, Hilma Parmley, Betty Geneva Jenkins, Marie Jenkins and Mary Jones.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 25, 2016 between 12 - 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ingram Cemetery.
