Shelia Coomer Harris was born January 21, 1949 and departed this life Friday, August 12, 2022 reaching the age of 73 years. She was the daughter of the late Carlus Vernon and Mildred Lee (Denney) Coomer.

She is survived by: one son, James Edward Harris; one great grandchild, Aviana Young; two sisters, Peggy (Paul) Baker and Denise (Tommy) Smith; one brother, Pete (Jenni) Coomer; one brother-in-law, Bill Ott; two sisters-in-law, Mary Coomer and Pam Smith Coomer; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Carlus and Mildred Coomer, she was preceded in death by: one grandson, Matthew Young; three brothers, Joe, Mike and Don Coomer; and two sisters, Anita Coomer and Verna Ott.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20, 2022 between 2 pm – 4 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 4 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
