Scotty Gene Spradlin was born January 23, 1972, and departed this life Saturday, October 3, 2026, reaching the age of 54 years. He was the beloved son of the late Alma Sue Vaughn and Donald Spradlin. He accepted the Lord as his Savior when he was young.
He is survived by: his three daughters, Jamie and Brooklyn Spradlin and Christen Smedley; three sisters, Cheryl “Annie” Dishman, Angel Spradlin, and Paula Gregory; two brothers, Charles Spradlin and Andric Ingram. He is also survived by: his grandchildren, Jaslynn and Jaxon Gregory, Brylynn, Raelynn, Kaygen, Kaycen, and Kycen Daniels, Brantley, Emma and Adalynn Walters, Atlas, Aden, Fabian, and Aurora Hockensmith; along with a host of family and friends who mourn him passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Monica Spradlin; his stepfather, Larry Vaughn; stepmother, Debbie Spradlin; and one brother, Robert Spradlin.
Scotty was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, son, and brother who will be incredibly missed.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 8, 2026, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Spradlin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Scotty Gene Spradlin Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
