IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Scottie Eugene
Peavie
September 5, 1966 – February 6, 2021
Scottie Eugene Peavie was born September 5, 1966 and departed this life Saturday, February 6, 2021 reaching the age of 54 years. He was the son of Gene and Sue (Massengale) Peavie.
He is survived by: his wife, Patty Peavie; stepson, Patrick (Regina) Denney; a very special step grandson, Wesley Cole Denney. He is also survived by his mom and dad, Sue and Gene Peavie; and a brother, Shawn James Peavie; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
Scott was a member of Davis Chapel Methodist Church. He was a very hard-working man. As a young boy he rode his bike and worked on a neighbor's farm. When he got his driver's license, he worked at a grocery store all his high school years. Then worked in factories. His later years he went to American Woodmark, where he was a supervisor of Maintenance on night shift.
He was a self-taught taxidermist. Scott loved to hunt and fish, teaching his grandson, Wesley Cole the outdoor life. Scott loved him more than anyone would ever know. Wesley was his world! He loved all of God's creations.
Our loss is heaven's gain.
