Scottie Abbott was born September 25, 1979 and departed this life Monday, March 2, 2020 reaching the age of 40 years. He was the son of Donna (Kempton) Morris and the late Ronnie Lee Abbott.

He is survived by: his children, Shawn Abbott and Nicole Abbott; his mother, Donna Morris; his brothers, Chris (Bridget) Bell and Troy McGuire; his sister, Misty McGuire; and his grandmother, Jean Kempton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Don Kempton; grandparents, Irene and Smiley Abbott; and his uncle, Bill Abbott.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home and Thursday, March 5, 2020 between 10 am – 1 pm at Worldwide Ministries Church of God.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 1 pm at the Worldwide Ministries Church of God. Burial will be in the Cabell Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
