Sarah Alice Baker was born January 25, 1919 and departed this life Friday, May 9, 2008 reaching the age of 89 years. She was the daughter of the late Grief Gregory and Jane Jones Gregory.

She married Spencer Baker and to this union nine children were born.

She is survived by: six sons- Lee Baker of New Castle, IN, Frank, Kay, Mack, Danny, and Cecil all of Monticello, KY, and one daughter- Caroline Prince of Monticello, KY; 19 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband- Spencer, three daughters- Barbara Faye, Gladys Marie, and Emma Jean Baker; and several brothers and sisters.

She was a loving mother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
