Obituary
Sara Elizabeth Francis was born June 15, 1910 and departed this life Sunday, March 27, 2011 reaching the age of 100. She was the daughter of the late Canon and Mattie (Green) Worsham.
She was united in marriage to Cosby Francis and to this union 5 children were born.
She is survived by: 1 son, Paul (Dorothy) Francis of Somerset, KY; 1 daughter, Virginia Ruth (Jack) Lykins of Pennsylvania; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Canon and Mattie Worsham, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Cosby Francis; 2 sons, Fred Wilson and David Lewis Francis; and 1 daughter, Marjorie Lendra Francis.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 10am - 1pm at New Charity Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 1pm at New Charity Baptist Church with Bro. Koger Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in New Charity Cemetery.
