Sandra Upchurch was born on August 7, 1951, and departed this life on Friday, April 12, 2024, reaching the age of 72 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Inman and Vena (West) Gregory.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Upchurch; 2 sons, Michael Lee (Angie) Criswell and Kyle David (Lorie) Criswell; 1 daughter, Karrie Ann (Mitchell) Hofmeister; 1 step-son, Kristopher Nicholas (Joni) Upchurch; 1 step-daughter, Kelli (Jason) Upchurch Spencer; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers, Roger (Steve) Fluhr, and George (Mike) Fluhr; 2 sisters, Tammy Ragland, and Michelle Tucker; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 brother, John Fluhr.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18, 2024, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
