Samuel Roy Daniel was born August 2, 1961 and departed this life Wednesday, August 7, 2019 reaching the age of 58 years. He was the son of the late James "Red" and Relda (Huckaby) Daniel.

He is survived by: his wife, Samantha Daniel; sons, Terry and Leroy Daniel, Malachi Oakley, William Chumbly and Dusty Cole; daughters, Leona Daniel and Shadey Cole; and 6 grandchildren.  He is also survived by:  brothers, Bill (Becky) Daniel and Jr. (Melissa Crabtree) Daniel; and sister, Helen (Terry) Parrigin; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Red and Relda Daniel, he was preceded in death by: one grandchild, Rasberry Cole; and one sister, Stella Marie Daniel.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2019 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hurt Cemetery.
