Samuel Cummings, Jr. was born January 11, 1958 and departed this life October 12, 2018 reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of Samuel and Faye (Porter) Cummings, Sr.

In addition to his parents, Sam and Faye Cummings, he is survived by: his companion, Sharon Lowe; his children, Samantha Cummings and Cody Cummings; one grandchild, Cameron Catron; and one great grandchild, Scarlet Coffey; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 15, 2018 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Charity Cemetery.
