Obituary
Sally Cathrine Parmley was born June 22, 1922 and departed this life Thursday, October 08, 2009 reaching the age of 87 years. She was the daughter of the late John S. Young and Lina (Miller) Young.
She is survived by: 3 daughters, Thelma Hancock-Bell of Monticello, KY, Sula Avery of Culter, IN, and Bessie Brown Yingst of Russell Springs, KY: 4 sons, Kenneth Parmley of Frankfort, IN, Stanley Parmley of Somerset, KY, Shelby Parmley of Frankfort, IN, and Alpha Parmley of Monticello, KY, 23 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren, and several step grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, John and Lina Young, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Fred Parmley; 2 children, Ethel Brown and Henry Parmley; siblings, Odie Lee Yound, Joesph Ferris Young, Martha Grave Young, and Mary Smith.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Sunday, October 11th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Monday, October 12th at 11 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
