Obituary
Ruth Huffaker Luttrell, age 76 of Louisville, KY, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Treyton Oak Towers in Louisville, KY.
She was born October 3, 1937 in Monticello, KY; the daughter of the late S. Edwin and Marie (Gregory) Huffaker.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Luttrell of Louisville, KY and David Luttrell of Columbus, OH; and one sister, Alice Slusher of Monticello, KY; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Edwin and Marie Luttrell, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Glenn Luttrell.
Ruth was a longtime resident of Georgetown, KY. She graduated from Georgetown College and taught elementary school at Garth Elementary School until her retirement.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 11am - 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 2pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Don Huffaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
