Ruth Kendrick was born April 23, 1932 and departed this life Monday, December 08, 2014 reaching the age of 82 years. She was the daughter of the late Merle and Flossie (Daniel) Polson.

She married Claude Kendrick, Jr. and to this union three children were born.

She is survived by: two children, Gary Kendrick and Vicki Hicks; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: one brother, Robert Polson; and two sisters, Betty Burgess and Doris Forester; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Merle and Flossie Polson, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Claude Kendrick, Jr.; one son, Steven Kendrick; and one brother, Thomas Polson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 13, 2014 after 10am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
