Ruth Hollars was born December 31, 1931 and departed this life Sunday, September 13, 2009 reaching the age of 77 years. She was the daughter of the late T. L. and Pearly (Winchester) Duncan.

She is survived by: 3 sons, Jimmy (Barbara) Hollars of Monticello, KY, Darrell (Sharon) Hollars of McCreary County, and Don (Deborah) Hollars of Monticello, KY, and 1 daughter, Cindy (Roger) Winchester of McCreary County, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by: 3 brothers, Bill Duncan and Henry Tapley of McCreary County, and Albert Miller of Memphis, TN, 6 sisters, Volena Ammon, Dorothy Phillips and Linda Tapley all of McCreary County, Imogene Sorrell of Flemingsburg, Brenda Tapley of Oneida, TN, Gertude Sams of Clinton, TN, along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, T. L. and Pearly Winchester, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Glenn Hollars, 2 great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Genell Holder and Evelyn Grubbs, and 1 brother, Elbert Miller.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 16th at 11 am
