Obituary
Ruth Ramsey Conn was born February 14, 1913 and departed this life Wednesday, February 25, 2009 reaching the age of 96 years. She was the daughter of the late Logan Oscar and Polley Jane (Coffey) Ramsey.
She was united in marriage to John Lee Conn on June 16, 1934 and to this union 6 children were born.
She is survived by: 2 sons- Joseph Corbett Conn of Monticello, KY and Kenneth Lee Conn of Connersville, IN, 3 daughters- Betty Ann Kleinschmitt of Greenwood, IN, Geneva Conn Shepherd of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Kathy Jane Conn Bell of Union City, TN, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 2 brothers- Forrest and Paul Kennett both of Indianapolis, IN; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband- John Lee Conn who passed away on December 10, 1976, her daughter- Georgena Conn Shewmaker who passed away June 20, 2004, 1 brother- Elmo Ramsey, and 2 sisters- Lucille Turner and Mary White.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Friday, February 27th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Saturday, February 28th at 1 pm
Interment: Parmley's Grove Cemetery
