Russell Southwood was born March 3, 1940 and departed this life Saturday, January 03, 2009 reaching the age of 68 years. He was the son of the late Eskel and Bertha (Bell) Southwood.

He is survived by: 2 daughters- Anna Southwood and Peggy Fish, 1 son- Kevin Southwood. He is also survived by: 4 brothers- Curtis, Randy, Eskel, and Manuel Southwood, and 3 sisters- Dottie McClane, Carol Bennett, and Janet McQueary; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Eskel and Bertha, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother- Sonny Southwood, and 2 sisters- Betty Dean and Nita Richardson.

He was a loving father, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 7th at 2 pm
Interment: Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery
