Russell Hicks was born November 6, 1954 and departed this life Sunday, March 28, 2021 reaching the age of 66 years. He was the son of the late Charlie "Bill" and Lillie (McGinnis) Hicks.

He is survived by: his wife, Lucinda Hicks; one son, Carlos (Davon) Hicks; one daughter, Patricia "Pooch" (Jack) Bowlin; and four grandchildren, Little Jack "Bookie" Bowlin, Montanna, Aryzona and Carson Hicks. He is also survived by: brothers, Jason and Oren Hicks; and sister, Olene Coffey; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Bill and Lillie Hicks, he was preceded in death by: brothers, Ray, Clay and Bradley Hicks.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 2, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hicks Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to:  Russell Hicks Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home
