Obituary
Russell David Cobb, Sr. was born November 25, 1949 and departed this life Monday, May 31, 2010 reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Adam Tilford Cobb, Sr. and Jane Meredith Cobb.
He is survived by: 2 sons, Russell Cobb, Jr. of San Jose, CA and Michael Cobb of Pensacola, FL; 1 daughter, Kaytrina Cobb of Monticello, KY; and 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by: 2 brothers, Adam Cobb, Jr. of Monticello, KY and Leslie Cobb of Lexington, KY; and 2 sisters, Naomi Jones of Monticello, KY and Marlene Jackston of San Francisco, CA; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 7, 2010 at 2:30 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Smedley officiating. Burial will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY.
Military honors will be performed by our local DAV.
