Ruby Foster was born May 28, 1952, and departed this life Thursday, January 16, 2025, reaching the age of 72 years. She was the daughter of the late Harvey Shelton and Mossie (Meredith) Crabtree.

She is survived by: one daughter, Hailey Sharp; three grandchildren, Cory Doss, Trentin Neeley and Tristen Neeley. She is also survived by: one sister, Martha Goodman; and two brothers, Golman Crabtree and Henry Crabtree; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Bobby Sharp; one son, Ricky Foster; one daughter, Marsha Doss; five brothers, Virgil Crabtree, Ernest Crabtree, John Shelton, Robert Shelton, and Milford Shelton; and four sisters, Bonnie Shelton, Bessie Mathews, Mary Criswell, and Dolly Howell.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, 2025, between 11 am – 12 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 12 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Sharp Cemetery in Jamestown, TN.
