Roy Savage was born December 2, 1925 and departed this life Thursday, June 19, 2008 reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of the late Joe and Mary Ann (Crabtree) Savage.

He is survived by: 4 sons- Raymond Savage of Somerset, KY, Gordon Savage of Monticello, KY, Tommy Savage of New Castle, IN, and Estil Savage of Monticello, KY, 8 daughters- Judy Davis, Reba Savage, Joanne Morris, Peggy Hunter, Jeannie Mason, Becky Savage all of Monticello, KY, Imogene Savage of Florida, and Ruby Faye Savage of Indiana, 33 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and many step grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 son- Roy Jr., 1 grandson- Gary Savage, 3 brothers- Will, Joe, and Charlie Savage, and 3 sisters- Maggie Skidmore, Helene Savage, and Nannie Henderson.

He was a loving father, grandfather, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation: Sunday, June 22nd after 10 am
Funeral Service: Sunday, June 22nd at 2 pm
Interment: Green Betty Cemetery
