Roy Ronald Rhoden was born October 25, 1948 and departed this life Sunday, October 22, 2017 reaching the age of 68 years. He was the son of the late Leroy Robert Rhoden and Ella Mae (Lamoree) Rhoden.

He married June Gatlin and to this union one child was born.

He is survived by: his wife, June Rhoden; one son, Roy Rhoden; and three grandchildren, Dylan Rhoden, Lance Mastin, and Trevor Cooper. He is also survived by: three brothers, Earl Rhoden, Raymond Rhoden, and Larry Rhoden; one sister, Sheila Stanley; and his loving dog, Lassie; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Leroy and Ella Rhoden, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Irvin Rhoden and William Rhoden; and two sisters, Donna Davie and Gloria Rhoden.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26, 2017 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
