Roy Buster was born October 31, 1953 and departed this life Monday, May 10, 2021 reaching the age of 67 years. He was the son of the late Roy Buster and Wilma Ruth (Worley) Buster.

He is survived by: his wife, Brenda (Guffey) Buster; one son, Bobby Allen Buster; one daughter, Mistie Buster; one grandchild, Mikayla Griffin; one great grandchild, Declan Griffin; and one sister, Peggy Shelton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Paulette Buster and Lucy Mae Sullivan.

Roy served his country as a member of the Army National Guard.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 15, 2021 between 11 pm – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dick Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
