Rosie Lee Piercy was born August 30, 1945 and departed this life Tuesday, January 27, 2015 reaching the age of 69 years. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Ora (Shelton) Rains.

She is survived by: her husband, Everett Piercy; one son, Tim Piercy: two daughters, Mary Lisa Craig (Jeff) and Teresa Kempton (Jeremy); seven grandchildren, Travis Piercy, Nicole Craig, Felicia Worth, Brandon Garrett, Alexa Kempton, Sierra Piercy, and Austin Piercy; and four great grandchildren, Layni Spurlock, Bryce Worth, Bentli Worth, and Shealynn Duvall. She is also survived by: five brothers, Johnny, Clyde, Frankie, Eddie, and Floyd Rains; and six sisters, Louise Perdue, Marie Stinson, Angele Cole, Ethel Boggs, Jean Johnson, and Becky Rains; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parent's, Sam and Ora Rains, she was preceded in death by: one son, Tony Piercy; and two brothers, Willie Rains and Robert Dale Rains.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 29, 2015 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Davis Chapel Church Cemetery
