Rose Stephens Correll was born April 22nd, 1912 in Wayne County, KY and departed this life Friday, November 1st, 2002, reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of Doctor Columbus Stephens and Harriet Abigail Rector Stephens.

She was united in marriage to Otis Correll, and to this union eight children were born.

She is survived by six sons-Richard and Bruce Correll of Monticello, KY, Joe Correll of Lexington, KY, Robert Correll of Jamestown, IN, Glen Correll of Nicholasville, KY and Dale Correll of Cassatt,S.C. and one daughter-Pauline Roush of Michigan, along with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Otis, one son-Ralph Correll, two brothers-Fred and Clarence Stephens, one sister-Flora Upton Frost, two half-brothers-John and Jim Stephens and two half sisters-Annie Davis and Alice Baker.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Sunday, November 3rd, 2002 in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Monday, November 4th, 2002 at 10 AM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
