Rosa Katheryn Bertram Sexton was born November 11, 1932 and departed this life Tuesday, November 1, 2016 reaching the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Nannie Dorothy (King) Bertram.

She married Wallace Carl Sexton and to this union one son was born.

She is survived by: her son, Mike (Linda) Sexton of Radcliff, KY; two grandsons, Michael Wallace (Amy) Sexton and Brian Christopher (Debi) Sexton of Illinois; five great grandchildren, Trey, Hayley, Madison, Drew, and Kennedy Sexton all of Illinois. She is also survived by: two brothers, Lee (Elna Mae) Bertram of Gilbert, AZ and Porter Kay (Mary Ann) Bertram of Milford, IL; and two sisters, Patricia (Rocky) Thompson of Crawfordsville, IN and Janet (Richard) Smith of Gridley, IL; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Robert and Dorothy Bertram, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Wallace Sexton; and one sister, Flora Luttrell.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 5, 2016 after 10;30 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
