Ronnie Lee Fairchild was born August 29, 1948, and departed this life Tuesday, February 18, 2025, reaching the age of 76 years. He was the son of the late Chester and Edith (Rains) Fairchild.

He is survived by: his wife, Helen Fairchild; two sons, Jason Fairchild and Justin Fairchild; and six grandchildren, Austin, Gage, Jayce, Jayma, Landon, and Serenity Fairchild.  He is also survived by: two sisters, Connie Adkins (Clyde) and Darlene Sexton (Richard); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Chester and Edith Fairchild, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Jerry Fairchild and Scott Fairchild.

Ronnie was a life-long truck driver. And truly enjoyed it doing it.

He was an Army veteran who served his country proudly; continuing his service to his country and community he was also a member of the local DAV Chapter 105.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 21, 2025, between 10 am - 1 pm at Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, February 21, 2025, at 1 pm in the chapel of Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Elk Spring Cemetery. Military honors provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
