Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Carrender was born January 26, 1951 and departed this life Sunday, November 21, 2021 reaching the age of 70 years. He was the son of the late Howard Edward and Lucille Thelma (Hicks) Carrender.

He is survived by: his wife, Carolyn Carrender; two sons, Justin and Kyle Carrender; four daughters, Carolyn Dean Morrow, Rebecca "Becky" Denny, Annie Kay Carrender and Courtney Carrender; one brother, Rex Carrender; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Howard and Lucille Carrender, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Dean Carrender.

Ronnie was saved a young age and attended church as long as his health allowed.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 between 11 am – 2:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 2:30 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
