Rolan Carl Denney was born May 15, 1940 and departed this life Saturday, November 3, 2012 reaching the age of 72. He was the son of the late Willard and Oma Lee (Frost) Denney.

Carl is survived by four children, Carl Wayne Denney of Hayward California, Jason Denney of Monticello, Pagie Jones of Monticello, and Tammy Bowman of Greenfield, Indiana, a sister, Betty Hicks of Albany and one brother, Ray Denney of Albany; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews who mourn his passing.

He is preceded in death by his precious loving wife Carlyen Denney in which he was married to for 37 years, his parents, Willard and Oma Frost Denney, one brother Earl Denney and one sister Lillie Jean Melton.

Carl gave his life to the Lord in 2004 and attended Albany Freewill Baptist Church. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7th, 2012 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Corb Hicks and Bro. David Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Perdue Cemetery.
