Roger Piercy was born May 25, 1954 and departed this life Sunday, December 18, 2016 reaching the age of 62 years. He was the son of the late Larry and Bonnie (Daniels) Piercy.

He is survived by: two sons, David Piercy (Chelsea) and Christopher "Rodney" Piercy (Brandy); and two daughters, Michelle Stinson (James) and Tyann Hicks (Troy); and nine grandchildren, Dustin & Kayla Stinson, Matthew Piercy, Haley, Jayden & Emma Hicks, Keeley Bertram, Blakely Piercy, and Paislee Jo Piercy. He is also survived by: three brothers, Earl, Ray, and Ken Piercy; three sisters, Bea Massengill, Helen Hicks, and Geraldine Burnett; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Larry and Bonnie Piercy, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Hobert Harold and Tom Piercy; and three sisters, Joyce Stinson, Charlotte Rose Piercy, and Betty Jean Piercy.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 after 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.
