Roger Kay Frost was born November 27, 1944, in the Hidalgo Community of Wayne County.  He was the son of the late Robert and Pauline "Bertram" Frost.  He departed this life on Saturday, July 1st, 2023, having reached the age of 78 years.

He is survived by:  his two children, Allen Frost and Cherre (Loval) Jones; 5 grandchildren, Megan Frost (Dustin) McCutchen, Robert Koontz, John Allen (Chloe) Frost, Dylan Ray Jones, and Ryan Frost; 5 great-grandchildren, Sophia & Robby Koontz, and Halla, Korbin, and Blakelyn McCutchen; and two sisters, Linda Gregory and Janet O'Rear.

In addition to his parents, Robert and Pauline Frost, he is preceded in death by his grandmother Hettie Davidson and nephew, Bill Mikel, Jr.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative, and friend that will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023, from 4-8pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6th, 2023, at 11am with Bro. Danny Bell and Bro. Mark Helton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
