Roger Dean was born February 8, 1961 and departed this life Sunday, May 27, 2012 reaching the age of 51. He was the son of the late David Dean and Joanne Dean.

He is survived by: 2 sons, Roger Dean, Jr. of Arlington, VA and Dustin Dean of Fayetteville, NC; and 1 grandson, Bronson Michael Dean of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by: 2 brothers, Richard Dean of Cincinnati, OH and Michael Dean of Mason, OH; 3 sisters, Patricia Dean of Monticello, KY, Teresa and Betty Jo Dean both of Florence, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, David Dean and Joanne Dean, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, David Lee Dean.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 8:30 – 10 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Anson Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
