Roger Burchette was born March 5, 1949 and departed this life Thursday, September 22, 2022 reaching the age of 73 years. He was the son of the late James and Justine (Guinn) Burchette.

He is survived by: his wife, Gracie Burchette; four sons, David Burchette (Kim), Richard Burchette, Danny Morrow (Beverly Lyons) and Ronald Burnette (Amanda); one daughter, Teresa Baker; one sister, Lois Antle; seven grandchildren, Nathaniel Baker, Bryson, Baker, Kyra Burchette, Brian Morrow, Jordan Burnett, Marcus Burnett, and Whitney Alvarez; and seven great grandchildren and one on the way; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, James and Justine Burchette, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gayle Burchette.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to:  Roger Burchette Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25, 2022 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Clinton County.
