Rodney Neal was born February 19, 1963, and departed this life Sunday, July 30, 2023, reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of James Neal and the late Anna Lois (Dishman) Neal.

Along with his father, James, he is survived by: his wife, Kimberly Motley Neal; 3 daughters, Sara Lyons (Justin), Stephanie Lee (Sean) and Katherine Lee (Taylor); 2 grandchildren, Benjamin and Jackson. He is also survived by his brother, Ronnie Neal (Lynn) and a cousin who is more like a brother, Kevin Peercy; and his dog and grand dog , Neeko and Nala; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

Rodney was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Lois Neal and his 3 dogs, Thunder, Yuma, and Chichi.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 4, 2023, between 11 am – 12 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, August 4, 2023, at 12 pmat the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
