Rocky Lane Frost was born May 12, 1953, and departed this life Saturday, May 18, 2024, reaching the age of 71 years. He was the son of the late Gordon and Bessie (Coffey) Frost.

He is survived by: his wife, Vickie Frost; one son, Rodney Lane Frost (Rebecca); two grandchildren, Hunter Lane Frost and Ethan Grant Frost. He is also survived by:  one brother, Donnie Frost (Jo); and one sister, Geraldine Kinnett; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Lonnie Frost and Montie Frost; and one sister, Maxine Abbott.

Rocky retired from the Department of Fish and Wildlife and worked part-time for the Monticello Utility Commission. He accepted Christ many years ago as a teenager at Mt. Pleasant Church in Eadsville. He loved fishing, hunting, shooting pool and spending time with his grandsons. He was a people person and touched the lives of many people.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Friday, May 31, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elk Spring Cemetery.
